mata2.JPGDe Politie stelde een onderzoek in, in verband met een schietpartij met dodelijk afloop die heden omstreeks 18.19 uur, ter hoogte van Barentslaan  heeft plaatsgevonden.Uit onderzoek bleek dat het slachtoffer, de man Gioveanni Michelangelo Martin de J. van Ierland, geboren op Curaçao op 8 februari 1965, voor een zaak in voormelde straat kwam aanrijden, toen hij verrast werd door een man die op hem schoot. Het slachtoffer had verschillende inschotwonden aan zijn lichaam en overleed ter plaatse. De politiearts constateerde de dood.Op last van de officier van Justitie werd het lijk en de voertuig, waar het slachtoffer in zat, voor het verder onderzoek in beslag genomen.
